 Fall, without doubt, has got to be my favorite time of year, that's why I really enjoy shooting families this time of year.  There isn't a more beautiful time in my opinion, I literally can't wait to feel that nip in the hair and hug that cable knit sweater close to my skin whilst crunching on those golden leaves.  

Here is a snippet from one of my very favorite shoots ever, this was shot at Penninsula Park in Portland on a very nippy October afternoon, rainy too, but these little guys warmed my heart.

 Our studio is decked out with three different Christmas themes; patiently awaiting the arrival of some little gremlins.  I am so delighted to finally have my new studio space up and running in time for Christmas this year.  I've tried to make the sessions super fun, relaxed and a little bit silly.  I've even included a child only waiting area with toys and tiny little kid sized chairs. No parents allowed please!! you can sit over on the stuffy seating and read boring grown up magazines if you please.  This year every child will get a goody bag filled with Christmas goodies, just to help build the anticipation for the holidays!

 

The sessions so far have been wonderful, but I'm still waiting on one kids not to throw the baubles and fake snow balls at me! they seemed like such a good idea at the time!
